Soul Knights
How to play Soul Knights
- Start with Nuri and recruit a friend after each first victory. A new journey begins with two squad slots, expanding to three and then four. Include an attacker and check enemies and suggested roles before setting out. Existing friends and squads are preserved.
- Spend regenerating food when a friend is ready. Nuri costs 2 food and appears only when summoned. Friends march and attack automatically. Once a front line forms, reinforcements arrive at a rally point behind it. Fallen friends can be summoned again.
- Combine front guards, range, area damage, slowing and healing. Up to twelve friends may fight together. In new battles, up to 2 Daon and 2 Naru can fight together; summon replacements after they fall. Leave room for attackers. The first learning battle waits for your first summon.
- Break the gate in stages 1–3; defeat Dwiteul, Adeuk and Muon in stages 4–6. After Tori joins, save 5 food to call Tori and combine attacks with Rumi in stage 7. Losing your camp or reaching 3:30 ends the battle.
Which Soul friends appear?
Nuri is a spear fighter with a crystal spear. Orange triangular Raon holds twin swords, pink rectangular Moru a crystal mace, Rumi a star staff, Tori a puzzle hammer and Daon a heart shield. Naru uses cloud magic. Choose 1–4 recruited friends from the seven. There is no separate hero: Nuri is summoned with food like everyone else. Friends keep their original bodies and colors, carrying weapons without armor at every upgrade level. Weapons and resolve upgrades improve allied health and attack.
Can I use a keyboard?
Drag, scroll or use arrow keys and buttons to explore the battlefield. Follow front resumes automatic tracking. Use keys 1–4 for your available summon slots. Pause with the menu, Escape or P. All friends, including Nuri, are summoned with food in new battles. Saved battles under the earlier rules retain their original movement and spell controls.
How do stars and upgrades work?
Record one star for victory, one for finishing within 2:30 and one for retaining at least 70% camp health. First clears award a stage-and-rating bonus; repeat victories award 3 spendable stars. Upgrade allied HP/attack, food capacity/generation and camp health by up to four levels. Earlier mana and protection levels now add 10% camp health per level. Replays do not recruit duplicate friends or award first-clear bonuses twice.
How does friend mastery grow?
In new adventures, friends actually summoned in a victory record a shared win. Two wins unlock mastery rank 1 and five unlock rank 2, improving each friend’s specialty: reach, attack speed, healing, area attacks or slow duration. Losses and duplicate settlement do not count. Mastery applies from the next battle. Original bodies, colors and armor-free designs are preserved.
How is progress saved?
The current battle, squad, stars, upgrades and stage records stay in this browser. Blocked or damaged storage is shown and the original save is preserved. Changes in another tab pause the game so you can load the latest record. Records from Soul Run and other games are never read or changed. Campaign progress does not sync through your account.
How is the weekly ranking challenge different from the campaign?
Weekly challenges are separate from the campaign. Sign in and start a new challenge. Within the same UTC week and battlefield, everyone uses the same seed, squad, upgrades and mastery. Campaign growth and star rewards are unchanged. Ranking requests happen only at start and finish; the final summon-tick log is replayed to compare stars and clear time from the same winning run. A new week starts Monday at 00:00 UTC. More stars rank first, then shorter clear time. Tickets last 24 hours and submissions close 24 hours after the week ends. Validation does not prove human play and grants no currency rewards.
