Soul Run
How to play Soul Run
- Choose your friend and press Start running. Your friend runs forward automatically. Swipe sideways, use the arrow keys or A/D, or tap the on-screen controls to switch between three lanes.
- Swipe up, press Up, W or Space to jump over logs and gaps. Swipe down or press Down or S to slide under low arches. Move sideways to avoid large blocked paths.
- Collect starlight, magnets, shields and boosts. Speed and scenery change as you go. A collision without protection ends the run; check your result and try a new path.
Which friends can I choose?
Choose Nuri the sky-blue seed or Rumi the yellow star for free. Both have the same running abilities. An unfinished run with another friend keeps its records and continues with Nuri’s appearance.
Can I move while jumping?
You can switch lanes in the air. Swipe down or use the slide key to cancel your jump and land early.
How do power-ups work?
A magnet attracts nearby starlight for 8 seconds. A shield prevents one collision within 10 seconds. A boost makes you faster and protects you from obstacles for 5 seconds.
How are scores and records calculated?
Earn 10 points per whole metre, 25 per starlight and 50 per avoided obstacle. Local records and unfinished runs remain in this browser when saving is available. Sign in before starting a new run to join the separate Soul Run rankings.
What happens to old Soul Friends Run saves?
Previous runner and battle save bytes stay intact. Open the previous game archive under My records to view them. Their scores use different rules and are kept separate from Soul Run scores and rankings.
How are ranked results checked?
A signed-in new run uses a server-issued seed. At the end, the server replays the inputs to check the score and ending and also checks elapsed time. Unusual results can be reviewed. This does not prove that a human played, and no currency is awarded. Runs over 30 minutes or the input limit remain local records.
When does the game pause?
Pause with the menu, P or Escape. Changing windows or resizing also pauses. A short countdown gives you time before resuming. The game explains blocked or damaged storage and changes from another tab.
