How to play Soul Blocks
- Choose one of three blocks and place it into empty cells on the 8×8 board. Its top-left corner goes on the cell you choose. You can drag, or use 1, 2, 3, arrows and Enter.
- Fill a complete row or column to clear it. Clear several lines together and make consecutive clearing moves for more points.
- Use all three blocks to receive a new set. The game ends when none of the remaining blocks fits anywhere.
Can I rotate blocks?
Blocks keep the orientation shown in the tray. Consider all three and decide which one to place first.
Is there a time limit?
Local play has no time limit. Pause from the game menu or with Escape. Switching tabs pauses automatically. A ranking ticket is valid for 24 hours after issue.
Where are progress and high scores saved?
Progress and personal bests stay in this browser. Return in the same browser to continue. Progress does not sync across devices; clearing browser data removes local records. A notice appears if saving is blocked or data is damaged.
Does my score enter online rankings?
Sign in and start a new game to join. The game uses a server-issued seed, then sends its score and placement log together at the end so legal placements and the final score can be recalculated. There are no ranking requests during play. Validation supports up to 2,048 placements; longer games remain playable locally but are not submitted. Older saves are not uploaded retroactively, and unusual results wait for review. Validation does not prove human play and grants no currency rewards.
